Over the past week, we have continued our series of interviews with progressive Democratic Congressional candidates. While you can look for these on a regular basis from now through Election Day, we are proud to have interviewed three very solid progressives.

First, we spoke with Dennis Shulman, candidate for the Democratic nomination in my home district (New Jersey-5) against the odious Scott Garrett. You can read about Dennis by clicking here (there is also a link to his website at this post).

We also had the pleasure of interviewing (for the third time) Barry Welsh, candidate for Congress in Indiana’s 6th District. Barry is a helluva guy, and a long time Daily Kos community member, and is running against Mike Pence, the man who took that infamous Baghdad market stroll with John McCain and declared Baghdad as safe as Indiana. You can read about Barry by clicking here (there is also a link to his website at this post).

And last but certainly not least, we had Lt. Col. (retired) Air Force and Democratic Candidate for California’s 4th District Charlie Brown . Charlie just missed beating the corrupt John Doolittle in 2006 despite a late entry and massive underfunding, and he is poised to win the seat outright this November. You can read about Charlie by clicking here (there is also a link to his website at this post).
