50 State Radio Network
Here at Heading Left and Blog Talk Radio, we are not only looking to feature current voices in the progressive blogosphere and national issues. With the saying “politics is local” ringing true in general, it is even more relevant here. Since many people get their local news from either local newspapers or pre-packaged television news, there is a lot of analysis and news that warrants coverage, yet such coverage is generally lacking.
We hope to create a national network of local, state and regional Blog Talk Radio shows, all focusing on the issues facing people on a day to day basis. We don’t care if the issues relate to state government, city issues or even school district issues - it is those people who are closest to these issues who can give them the attention that they deserve.
With that, we are proud to promote the various regional and state blog communities and their Blog Talk Radio shows. This page will feature links to the various local and regional blog communities as well as their radio shows. Hopefully, over the course of time, we will be able to help build a network and cover all of the states and regions where a blog community and/or radio show exists.
