Mr. Artens is a foreign policy expert and conflict analyst who worked with the Carter Center and a Hamburg-based think tank. He has written several books on Iraq, including his latest political novel The Writing on the Wall.
The discussion focuses on Iran and the NIE and what it means politically, as well as his decision to publish his book as a novel in an effort to reach a broader audience.
