Valerie Plame Testimony
By Lowell | March 16, 2007
Congressional testimony by and about Valerie Plame Wilson is getting plenty of commentary in the progressive blogosphere today. For instance:
*Taylor Marsh writes that “hearing from Valerie Plame in her own words brings the whole sorry behavior from Bush administration into bright light” and adds, “if Democrats weren’t in the majority in Congress, Valerie Plame would never have been heard.”
*Jane Hamsher at Firedoglake says that “Valerie Plame was luminous and helped in no small part by the fact that she is smart, sincere, professional and articulate (not to mention gorgeous).” She says that “The big news of the day, however, came from Dr. James Knodell, who — as Director of the Office of Security at the The White House — admitted that there has been absolutely no investigation into the leaking of Plame’s identity by employee Karl Rove.”
*KagroX at Daily Kos writes that “Rep. Tom Davis (R-VA) this morning summed up in one pithy nugget why Americans are sick of Republicans…Davis actually attempted to lay the blame for her blown cover at the feet of the CIA itself.”
*Booman Tribune says that “all anyone needs to know” is that “Dick Cheney sold her out to cover up his lies.”
